June 01 - Present Freelance Design - Working with a variety of clients developing business identities, websites, product design, 3d modeling and photorealistic animations.
September 03 - Present Creative Slice - Founded Creative Slice LLC , a Tucson based design and marketing firm which helps small to medium sized businesses compete on a level playing field with larger competitors.
February 03 - April 03 Taos Ski Valley - Taos, NM - Teaching groups of children the fundamentals of skiing in a fun and inspiring environment.
October 02 - January 03 Summit Hut - Tucson, AZ - Designed graphics and individual product pages for the SummitHut.com website. Also worked on the sales floor providing customers with information about outdoor gear of all kinds.
January 01 - June 01 Fitch - Columbus, OH - Worked on an assortment of projects with clients in both the US and Japan. Primary responsibilities included brainstorming, concept development, and Alias database creation for both presentation and prototyping.
March 00 - June 00 University of Cincinnati - Supervisor in the Rapid Prototyping Lab using the five axis mill and FDM machines. Showed students how to bring 3d data from Alias to create prototypes of everything from 1/5th scale vehicles to a full size working pedal boat.
March 99 - December 99 Fitch - Columbus, OH - Worked on all aspects of the design process, from ideation to model making and presentation. Took the initiative to manage a project and present my concepts face to face with clients.
June 98 - December 99 Ethicon Endo-Surgery - Cincinnati OH - Worked on the Cardiovascular team developing abstract concepts into sketches and then 3d databases which were used to make prototypes. Led the Industrial Design on 4 projects.

education

September 96 - June 01 University of Cincinnati - College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). Bachelors of Science, Industrial Design, class of 2001. Cumulative GPA 3.5. Designed an eco-friendly vehicle "esolo" for my senior thesis which I built in Alias. Presentation included a cut-away 1/5th scale model, a full size side view rendering, as well as a variety of in-scene renderings.

2001 winner of the Decorative Concepts "Young Designer of the Year" contest for my "Orbital light."

Traveled three months through Europe during the Fall of 2000 with two of my classmates. We spent time in 16 different countries from Northern Ireland to Crete.
